McDonald Sales & Merchandising was founded in 1963, and has been under current management since 1978. Our senior management team has more than ninety years combined experience with the company, and we are fortunate to have key members of our team with ten or more years’ seniority, as well as many up and coming superstars.

Our head office is located in Oakville, Ontario, about twenty minutes west of Toronto, putting us in close proximity to the head offices of many major players in the Canadian hardware and home improvement industry. We are always available to support our manufacturers in their presentations to our buyers, and to also make these presentations on their behalf.

As the home improvement industry has evolved in the past two decades to include the presence of the “big box stores” and “mass merchants” in the Canadian marketplace, McDonald Sales has responded to these changes by creating separate and dedicated store service teams to complement our existing successful sales force working with the traditional hardware stores.
