The Home Depot Store Service

McDonald Sales has been working with Home Depot Canada since the first Aikenhead’s store was set up in 1991. We are proud to be one of the foremost national service groups, with Home Depot exclusive reps in place from coast to coast.


McDonald Sales takes in-store service one step further. In addition to standard in-store service which includes tidying and maintaining shelves, product and displays, label maintenance, on-hand adjustments, order recommendations, RTVs, and filling the shelves from overhead inventory, we put a huge focus on product knowledge training and developing strong relationships with store personnel. In addition, all of our team work in the stores on two weekend days each month, training the part-time associates and doing product demos to drive our sales. This extra exposure sets us apart from other service teams and helps us win over the hearts and minds of the associates so they can sell our products to the customer.

  Displays cleaned and repaired
  POP (signage and labels) refreshed and maintained
  Packdown of overstock to maintain an instock position on the shelf

  Associate training through informal one-on-one in-aisle training and through formal group classes
