NEW! Introducing electronic reporting! As of March '09, our Rona service reps are equipped with handheld units complete with camera for detailed up to the minute in-store accountability.
Box stores require more time and detail in service than traditional hardware formats, thus the genesis of our Rona box store service team. Separate from our Home Depot and Lowes teams, our Rona reps visit all stores in their district on a dedicated call cycle.
In addition to standard in-store service which includes tidying and maintaining shelves, product and displays, label maintenance, on-hand adjustments, order recommendations, RTVs, and filling the shelves from overhead inventory, we put a huge focus on product knowledge training and developing strong relationships with store personnel. Our team works in the stores alongside the associates, and also supports the stores through weekend events, attendance at new store openings and special events. This extra exposure sets us apart from other service teams and assists us in winning over the hearts and minds of the sales associates who will help put our products in the hands of the customer.
